Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh has joined the sexual health and wellness brand Bold Care as a co-owner. Singh, who has been working with the startup for over a year, will now be the face of the brand, the startup, without disclosing the financial details of this partnership.

He further added: “Bold Care has always championed the cause of normalizing conversations around men's health issues, especially sexual health.
What does Bold Care do?
Bold Care, started in 2019, focuses on men's health and wellness. The brand sells products that include condoms, lubes, chewables, gummies, and supplements for hair growth, immunity, and sleep. It aims to help with intimate health issues like premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction and to make it easier for people to talk about these topics.
What will the impact of the partnership?
By bringing Singh on board, Bold Care hopes to use his popularity to market its products better. Notably, The joining of Ranveer Singh is also expected to draw more attention to their sexual and wellness products, a market not often endorsed by high-profile celebrities.
Earlier in his career, Singh appeared in a series of condom ads to normalize the conversation around sexual health. The startup claims to have processed over 15 lakh orders since its launch in July 2020.

“I have always felt that this category needs more openness and acceptance in our society. That thought led to me endorsing a condom brand at a relatively early stage of my career. This time around it’s a greater investment that one is making. We are probably one of the most sexually active societies in the world. This needs to be done," he added.
The current landscape of the men's health and wellness market
The Indian market for health and wellness, particularly in the men's sector, is showing significant growth. In 2022, the total revenue in India's Health and fitness market is projected to reach around $19.24 million.
According to Statista, the market is expected to grow annually by 12.51%, reaching approximately $31.97 million by 2027. Additionally, the Indian wellness market was valued at nearly $78 billion in 2020, placing India among the top twenty markets globally for wellness, with the Asia Pacific region being the largest market in this sector.
A survey conducted in India in 2021 revealed that around 65% of Indians are now more focused on their immunity than before. Also, about 62% are more concerned about their family's health and safety.
