Indian telecom major Bharti Airtel has partnered with Adobe to bundle free access to Adobe Express Premium for its 36 crore customers across India.
Under the partnership, Airtel users will receive a one-year subscription to Adobe Express Premium, valued at around Rs 4,000, at no additional cost.
The offer is available to all Airtel customers, including mobile, Wi-Fi and DTH users. The subscription can be activated through the Airtel Thanks app and does not require a credit card.
Adobe Express is a quick-and-easy, create-anything app that enables users to produce social media assets, marketing materials, short videos and other visual content without prior design experience. The Premium version includes access to thousands of professional design templates, including templates customised for Indian festivals, weddings and local businesses.
It also offers AI-powered features such as instant background removal, custom image generation and one-tap video editing, along with premium Adobe Stock assets, over 30,000 professional fonts, 100GB of cloud storage, auto captions, instant resize and watermark-free exports with seamless sync across devices.
The app is available in English, Hindi, Tamil and Bengali, allowing users to work in their preferred language. Airtel said the tools are designed to support a wide range of use cases, from festival greetings and wedding invitations to promotional creatives for local shops and WhatsApp status updates.
“This partnership is about more than technology. It is about empowering millions of Indians with cutting-edge AI tools to create and innovate. From a student crafting their first resume to a small business owner designing a poster or a creator editing videos for followers, we want to empower every Airtel customer with the tools for self-expression. With Adobe Express, world-class creative tools are no longer a luxury, they’re a reality for every Indian,” Siddharth Sharma, CEO, Connected Homes and Director, Marketing, Bharti Airtel, said in a statement.
David Wadhwani, President, Digital Media at Adobe, said the collaboration aligns with the company’s broader focus on democratising creativity.
“We are committed to empowering everyone to create and stand out with Adobe Express, the quick and easy create-anything app. We are excited to partner with Airtel to bring Adobe Express Premium to millions of people across India for free, accelerating the growth of India’s vibrant creator economy and enabling people to easily produce standout content – whether boosting their careers, growing their businesses or promoting their passions,” he said.
Airtel said the bundled offering is aimed at a broad base of users, including students building presentations and portfolios, small businesses and entrepreneurs creating marketing materials, creators and influencers producing short-form video content, and marketers looking to design on-brand campaigns that reflect local identities and contexts.
