Report: The world's most valuable company Apple to launch its first online store in India on September 23, 2020. This will be the first official Apple online store in India which will allow the customers to shop for Apple's products in one place.
“We’re proud to be expanding in India and want to do all we can to support our customers and their communities,” said, Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of retail and people.
“We know our users are relying on technology to stay connected, engage in learning, and tap into their creativity, and by bringing the Apple Store online to India, we are offering our customers the very best of Apple at this important time,” he added.
The apple store will be the most convenient way for the Indian customers to shop for Apple devices and products and extensive customer support in one place.
As reported by TheVerge, India is becoming an important market for Apple because of its potential reach and growth. In recent years, Apple has shifted some of its devices manufacturing from China to India.
According to the reports, Apple is having less than 5% market share in India, While Xiaomi and Samsung having 29% and 26% respectively.
