Digii, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Technology Partner, and AWS India have announced the introduction of "DigiiAI," a new digital solution designed to enhance the campus experience in educational institutions.
DigiiAI aims to provide smarter, more efficient, and personalized solutions for students, teaching faculty, and administration.
In its initial phase, DigiiAI will use generative artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline administrative tasks, improve classroom management, and offer personalized support for faculty members.
Targeting more than 1000 faculty members
The initial rollout of DigiiAI will target more than 1000 faculty members across 20 educational institutions in India.
Some of the leading institutions participating in this rollout include Manipal Academy of BFSI, Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Bangalore, Chanakya University, The Apollo University, and Techno India University.
DigiiAI addresses common challenges faced by faculty and students in educational institutions, such as time-consuming administrative tasks and the creation of assessments.
“DigiiAI aims to transform the educational landscape by empowering educators with cutting-edge AI technology. Working together with AWS enables us to provide a personalized and impactful learning experience to faculty and students, fulfilling our commitment to advancing education through innovation,” said Hemant Sahal, Founder & CEO of Digii.
Built on Amazon Bedrock
DigiiAI has been built on Amazon Bedrock, AWS's generative AI service, which offers a range of high-performing foundation models and robust security, privacy, and responsible AI capabilities. This foundation has enabled Digii to develop and launch DigiiAI quickly, ensuring a solution that meets the specific needs of partner institutions in India.
“Building DigiiAI on AWS Bedrock was a seamless process, thanks to the exceptional support from the AWS technical team. This collaboration has allowed us to harness the power of multiple AI models effectively, ensuring a robust and scalable solution that enhances the teaching experience for faculty," said Sahal.
