WOGOM, a leading player in the B2B marketplace, has acquired Ckart Online, a division of Creative Newtech, for an undisclosed sum. With this acquisition, WOGOM will integrate Ckart Online into its operations to broaden its horizon and geographical reach across India.
The company will be able to extend its footprint across India, tapping into more than 25 regions with a network of over 8,000 trade partners and representing more than 25 exclusive brands.
Strategic expansion for enhanced reach
The acquisition of Ckart Online is a calculated step by WOGOM to fortify its presence in the B2B e-commerce landscape. The expansion will help Wogom enrich its portfolio and offer unprecedented value to both new and existing customers and partners.
Notably, the move is expected to grant WOGOM a competitive edge, allowing it to cater to a wider audience and meet diverse needs with an expanded suite of services and solutions.
“This move reaffirms our commitment to expanding its presence in the B2B e-commerce market and delivering exceptional value to customers and partners,” said Nirav Patel, founder and CEO and Ravi Patel, co-founder and director of WOGOM, in a joint statement.
Awaiting regulatory approvals
While the acquisition has been agreed upon, it remains subject to regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. WOGOM said it will work closely with the Ckart Online team to ensure a smooth transition for all stakeholders involved.
Founded in 2021 by Nirav Patel and Ravi Patel, WOGOM connects retailers in remote areas with distributors for sourcing consumer electronics, mobile phones and wearable devices.
