Beauty retailer Nykaa's net profit jumps 154% to Rs 33 crore in Q2 FY26

FSN E-Commerce Ventures, the parent company of Nykaa, posted a robust set of results for the quarter ended September 2025, highlighting sustained demand across its beauty and fashion verticals.

The company's consolidated Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) grew 30% year-on-year to Rs 4,744 crore, while revenue from operations increased 25% YoY to Rs 2,346 crore. Gross profit rose 28% to Rs 1,054 crore, the highest in 12 quarters.

Operating profitability improved sharply. EBITDA rose 53% YoY to Rs 159 crore, with margins expanding to 6.8% from 5.5% a year earlier. Net profit surged 154% YoY to Rs 33 crore.

“The performance this quarter reflects accelerated growth momentum across Nykaa, with each of our businesses contributing meaningfully to this trajectory,” said Falguni Nayar, Executive Chairperson, Founder and CEO of Nykaa. “The Beauty business continues to deliver consistently, achieving over 25% GMV growth for several consecutive quarters. This quarter saw accelerated brand launches, particularly across luxury and Korean beauty, alongside the addition of 19 new stores, further strengthening our omnichannel presence.”

Nykaa’s beauty vertical recorded 28% YoY GMV growth to Rs 3,551 crore, supported by e-commerce expansion, new brand launches, and strong performance from its House of Nykaa portfolio, which posted 54% YoY GMV growth.

The cumulative beauty customer base reached 40 million, a 31% increase YoY. The fashion business saw a revival with 37% YoY GMV growth, aided by new global brands such as GAP, Guess and H&M joining the platform.

Nykaa also expanded its store network and rolled out its rapid-delivery model, Nykaa Now, to enhance consumer convenience.

On a half-year basis, revenue rose 24% YoY to Rs 4,501 crore, while profit for H1 FY26 doubled to Rs 57 crore. The beauty segment contributed 91% of Q2 revenue at Rs 2,132 crore, with fashion accounting for 8.7%.

Total expenditure stood at Rs 2,297 crore, driven mainly by material costs of Rs 1,292 crore and spending on marketing, technology and employee benefits. Nykaa now serves a cumulative 49 million customers across beauty and fashion.
