Ride-hailing giant Ola today said it has rolled out its Prime Plus services across Bengaluru, Karnataka. The development comes more than a month after the company announced a pilot program conducted in the city.
According to the company, The Prime Plus service aims to offer a superior taxi experience to customers. Its main features include professional chauffeurs, a full guarantee of service, and a zero-cancellation policy, significantly minimizing operational hiccups, the company said in a statement.
The ride-hailing firm said it plans to further launch Prime Plus service in other parts of the country in the near future, although the timeline for this nationwide expansion remains undisclosed.
"The pilot of Prime Plus has been a tremendous success in Bangalore, significantly improving customer satisfaction with the upgraded level of comfort, reliability, and convenience. We are extremely pleased to announce its full-scale launch in Bangalore, followed by a gradual expansion to other cities across the country. Ola will continue to enhance and adapt its services to meet the evolving needs of our consumers." said Ola Spokesperson.
“Prime+ has been a great pilot in Bengaluru over the past couple of months. Today we're opening it up for all customers in Bengaluru. Also, through this month, launching in more cities!” Aggarwal stated on Monday, quote-tweeting Anshul Khandelwal, the company's Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer.
