Byju's to settle a $1.2 billion loan as it looks to sell Epic: Report

Byju's, an edtech giant, is looking to sell Epic, its US-based subsidiary, to settle a $12 billion term loan B.

Byju's acquired Epic in a deal valued at $500 million in July 2021 to expand its presence in the US market .

Epic! was founded in 2013 and has engaged over 2 million teachers and 50 million children .

Byju's recently announced a business restructuring and has proposed to pay back its entire $12 billion term loan in less than six months.
