CaratLane appoints Avnish Anand as its new CEO

The development comes after Titan Company acquired a 27.18% stake in Caratlane held by the founder and his family members for Rs 4,621 crore.

Online jewellery marketplace CaratLane has announced the appointment of Avnish Anand as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. 

Avnish is an alumnus of ISI Kolkata and IIM Lucknow and has joined CaratLane as its first employee and has been an integral part of the founding team. 

According to the company, Gurukeerthi Gurunathan will continue to serve as the Chief Technology Officer of CaratLane. Guru, with a master's degree from IIM Bangalore and experience working with renowned Fortune 500 companies, including a stint in Silicon Valley, brings valuable technological expertise to the team.

Gurukeethi played an important role in developing the technology infrastructure that drives CaratLane's omnichannel operations and digital experiences, the company said.

The development comes after Titan Company acquired a 27.18% stake in Caratlane held by the founder and his family members for Rs 4,621 crore.
