In an increasingly fragmented software landscape where businesses often juggle separate tools for CRM, payroll, field operations, and HR, Lystloc is betting on simplification.

Founded in 2017 as a location-tracking fix for its food delivery business, the Chennai-based software startup has evolved into a full-scale enterprise suite for managing on-field teams, automating reimbursements, capturing leads, and analysing productivity, all in real time.

And now, with the launch of Lystproof, a digital workforce data and verification platform, Lystloc is aiming to complete its transition from field force enabler to enterprise operations backbone.

At the heart of Lystloc’s pitch is consolidation. Its platform offers GPS-based attendance, payroll automation, CRM, task management, leave tracking, reimbursements, and analytics under a single interface.

The startup’s core differentiator is its integration of live field tracking with CRM data—a combination it says is absent from tools like Zoho CRM or HubSpot. LystCRM allows businesses to track employee location, meeting notes, and lead updates in the same dashboard.

It also plugs directly into HRMS platforms such as Darwinbox and greytHR, and popular CRMs like Freshsales, offering interoperability in an ecosystem often characterised by silos.

A vertical stack for field-heavy businesses

Lystloc’s software is particularly suited to industries with distributed workforces—pharmaceutical sales, FMCG distribution, banking, and logistics. The startup claims that companies like BPL Medical Technologies, Surfa Coats, and Federal Bank have deployed Lystloc to verify attendance, track movement, and reduce disputes in travel claims.

The app’s reimbursement feature calculates fuel expenses automatically from GPS routes. Its attendance system employs geo-restrictions and is piloting AI-based face recognition. Admin dashboards provide real-time data and 120+ customisable reports.

Lystproof moves the company into HR-tech territory. The platform enables employers to issue and verify work certificates, relieving letters, and payslips through a secure, consent-based workflow. For businesses, it turns a previously cumbersome verification process into a revenue opportunity by monetising each background check approval.

According to the startup, with Lystproof, HR teams no longer need to search through email chains or drive folders to locate documents. All data is stored in a secure vault, and nothing is shared without the dual consent of both HR and the employee. A detailed audit trail records every document exchange.

“We built Lystloc to fix our own team visibility problem,” the company says.

Since its MVP went live in 2017—24 hours on Android, 48 on iOS—the platform has grown organically through customer feedback. Over the past few years, it has added enterprise-grade modules like CRM, leave management, and automated fuel reimbursements.

Today, Lystloc serves over 15,000 businesses. Its pricing strategy undercuts fragmented stacks—Rs 549 per user per month for a platform that typically replaces 2-3 tools, which might otherwise cost over Rs 2,000 combined.
