Flipkart-owned travel ticket booking platform Cleartrip has onboarded cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its new brand ambassador.
The company said it has onboarded Dhoni to strengthen its brand ethos of transparency, optimism, and straightforwardness. Dhoni's universal appeal is expected to bolster Cleartrip's mission to become the go-to travel companion for a wide array of travellers, it said.
Launching the 'ClearChoice' campaign
With Dhoni on board, Cleartrip is set to aggressively expand its customer base and drive its market presence under the 'ClearChoice' campaign. The company said it aims to simplify decision-making in travel, making it seamless and anxiety-free.
Dhoni's association with Cleartrip is seen as a strategic move to inspire travellers and reinforce the company's position as a trusted travel partner for a diverse and expanding user base.
Cleartrip said it believes that Dhoni, with his reputation for making tough decisions, seem effortless and his experience as a global traveller, perfectly embodies the brand's values. Dhoni's first appearance for Cleartrip will be in an advertisement aimed at engaging a broad audience.
The company aims to leverage Dhoni's appeal across different generations and regions to enhance its market presence and user base.
