Endiya Partners and Tanglin Venture Partners have also agreed to invest in the startup, the statement said.

Over 70 million people in India have diabetes and another 80 million are pre-diabetic and is the major cause of a number of serious health issues, necessitating constant monitoring and control of blood sugar levels.

The startup employs continuous glucose monitoring technology (CGM), which allows customers to examine the influence of different foods and lifestyle activities on their blood sugar levels in real-time.

Sugar.fit's comprehensive program also includes coaching, tailored analytics, and integrated gadgets and tests, as well as medical professionals and cutting-edge technology.

Cure.fit will provide the Sugar.fit team with exercise and wellness material as well as access to their millions of health-conscious customers in the United States. Sugar.fit may benefit from Cure.fit's digital capabilities in preventive health, as well as Cult.fit's scale and network of doctors and coaches.

Sugar.fit debuted two months ago and is now available in Bengaluru and the Delhi-NCR region. The company has gained a lot of momentum and is on target to reach $1 million in annual revenue this quarter. Sugar.fit intends to expand to ten cities in the next months.

Commenting on the investment, Dr. Ramesh Byrapaneni, Partner, Endiya Partners said: “There is increasing evidence that with proper medical and lifestyle interventions, diabetes can be prevented, managed better and even reversed. However, current systems of care management are often generic and lack personalisation. Sugar.fit’s goal to sustainably manage and reverse diabetes for millions of Indians in the next few years is a worthy goal which we at Endiya are thrilled to partner in.”

Madan Somasundaram, Co-founder of Sugar.fit said: “We have an innovative tech-led solution that gives real-time tracking and hands-on personalised assistance to our customers. 90% of our users are seeing significant drop in their blood sugar levels along with drastic reduction in medication and weight and are on track for diabetes reversal. Our customers have rated the product 3.9 on a scale of 4 and we are seeing referrals from word-of-mouth every day. I am confident that Sugar.fit can sustainably manage and reverse diabetes for millions of Indians in the next few years.”

Madan Somasundaram and Shivtosh Kumar are among Sugar.fit's founders, and the core founding team has extensive expertise establishing and scaling businesses at cure.fit, Dailyhunt, Flipkart, Myntra, Samsung, and other companies.
