Health care startup Jeevan health on Tuesday announced that it has secured fresh funding of $150k from Y Combinator in a pre-seed funding round.

Set up amid pandemic by Piyush Vishwakarma, Kamran Alam, and Anish Musa MD, the company dedicatedly working towards helping 200 million people suffering from chronic health conditions like autoimmune and metabolic issues.

Jeevam doctors use nutritional biochemistry, advanced diagnostics, and digital tools to identify the root cause of patient disease and aim to cure the root cause whereas conventional doctors who prescribe medication to suppress or manage the symptoms

Support from the Y combinator will make the startup work towards its vision of transforming India's primary health sector which is facing a lot of challenges. According to the Founder "Taking medicine lifetime to cure the disease is not the solution we at Jeevan find the real problem of any dysfunction in the human body and solve it naturally. The fresh funding will be used to bring awareness among people.”

The raised funding will be utilized by the startup to create a treatment protocol for highly complicated autoimmune conditions by utilizing advanced diagnostics and functional medicine treatment.

The startup has the aim of compiling the latest technology with an ancient autoimmune condition by utilizing advanced diagnostics and functional medicine treatment. Kamran Alam, co-founder, and chief technology officer said “ currently the team is working to develop a software that would analyze thousands of biomarkers using functional medicine concepts and seek patterns in the patient's health conditions.
