Logistics giant Delhivery has reportedly announced a strategic partnership with Teamglobal Logistics to enhance its ocean freight services.

According to media reports, the partnership aims to streamline logistics operations for businesses engaged in global trade by providing a more integrated solution.

The partnership focuses on both inbound and outbound logistics, specifically in Less than Container Load (LCL) shipments, and promises to extend Delhivery's LCL services to over 120 countries.

As part of the agreement, Delhivery will leverage its inland Part Truckload (PTL) shipping solution, which spans more than 18,700 pin codes across India, to support Teamglobal’s operations.

In return, Teamglobal, India's largest LCL operator, will contribute its expertise in LCL shipments to enhance Delhivery’s global reach.

The partnership is designed to solve the long-standing challenge for Indian businesses of coordinating with multiple service providers for cargo transportation to and from international destinations.

Addressing business challenges

The partnership offers an integrated logistics solution, which simplifies the process for businesses by reducing the need for multiple vendors.

Delhivery said that this partnership will also address the common issue of finding a national-level service provider capable of managing ground transport for international trade.

The combined network of express and freight services, backed by tech-enabled tracking systems and in-house regulatory clearance, is expected to support the growth of businesses looking to expand their global reach.

Navneet Khandelwal, Senior Director of Global Operations at Delhivery, said, "We are thrilled to partner with Teamglobal, who are leaders in Less than Container Load shipping, and pass the benefits of this partnership to our enterprise and SME customers across India." Sujit Baral, Vice President at Teamglobal, echoed this sentiment, saying, “We look forward to the partnership given our mutual ground for process excellence and technology-enabled customer experience.”
