Delhivery turns profitable in Q1FY25 with Rs 54.35 crore; revenue up 12.5% to Rs 2,172 crore

Gurugram-based logistics firm Delhivery has reported a profit of Rs 54.35 crore for the quarter ending June 2025 (Q1FY25), a significant turnaround from the loss of Rs 89.48 crore in the same period last year.

The marks a notable improvement in the company’s financial performance, driven by the growth in its express parcel delivery service.

Delhivery offers a comprehensive range of services, including express parcel delivery, freight, warehousing, supply chain solutions, and more.

The company's revenue from operations rose 12.56% to Rs 2,172.30 crore, compared to Rs 1,929.78 crore in the same period last year.

Delhivery's business-to-business (B2B) transportation segment saw a substantial 25% rise in revenue, reaching Rs 347 crore. The volume in this segment surged to nearly 3.99 lakh tonnes from 3.84 lakh tonnes in the previous quarter.

The supply chain services, catering to e-commerce players, also contributed to the growth with an 11% year-on-year increase in revenue to Rs 259 crore.

Sahil Barua, MD and CEO, said, “Robust growth in PTL (part truckload) and SCS (supply chain services) businesses and stable growth in express parcel continues and have enabled improvement in profitability as well.”

Operational metrics and expansion

Express parcel shipments grew to 183 million in Q1FY25, up from 176 million in the previous quarter. EBITDA (earnings before income, taxes, depreciation and amortization) stood at Rs 97 crore in Q1FY25.

The company expanded its reach, covering 18,783 pin codes and increasing the number of express delivery centres to 3,567 from 3,170 a year ago.

These operational improvements have been crucial in enhancing service delivery and customer satisfaction.
