DigiHealth Technologies, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABCD Technologies, has acquired majority stakes in AIOCD Pharmasofttech AWACS Pvt. Ltd. (AWACS) and B2B focused healthcare platform Pharmarack Technologies Private Limited.
Through this deal, DigiHealth Technologies intends to develop a world-class robust IT infrastructure and supply chain required for pharmaceutical distribution in the country. ABCD Technologies counts Cipla, Dr. Reddy's, Lupin, Mankind Pharma, Sun Pharma, Torrent Pharma, Alkem Laboratories, and Cadila Healthcare as its prominent investors.
Earlier this week, Cipla had agreed to invest nearly Rs 40 crore in ABCD Technologies LLP, which is to be rebranded as IndoHealth Services LLP. The latest deal would help the company to achieve its goal of digitizing the supply chain for improving the availability and accessibility of medicines for patients in the country.
The company said in a statement that DigiHealth Technologies would be run by an independent board or management committee. "Both AWACS and Pharmarack Technologies have an independent management team with strong governance protocols to ensure data privacy and neutrality."

AIOCD Pharmasofttech AWACS was formed in 2007 through a joint venture of All Indian Origin Chemists & Distributors and Trikaal MediInfotech. The company works on pharmaceutical data collection and market research focused on data analytics.
