Dream11 co-founder Harsh Jain buys Rs 138 crore apartment in Malabar Hills: Report

Harsh Anand Jain, co-founder and CEO of fantasy sports platform Dream11, has purchased a luxury apartment at Lodha Malabar in South Mumbai’s upscale Walkeshwar area. 

According to media reports, the property’s agreement value exceeds Rs 138 crore, making it one of the major real estate transactions in the city’s premium market.

A high-value transaction

Property registration documents accessed by IndexTap.com show that the 9,546-square-foot apartment was sold at about Rs 1.45 lakh per square foot.

The deal, registered on January 9, 2025, includes six dedicated car parking spaces. A stamp duty of Rs. 8.30 crore was paid for the transaction. 

Lodha Malabar is being developed by Macrotech Developers, commonly known as the Lodha Group, which is known for its high-end projects in Mumbai.

Prestigious South Mumbai project

Lodha Malabar is a 31-story tower located on Walkeshwar Road in Malabar Hill, considered one of the most expensive residential neighbourhoods in India.

This area is known for its prominent residents, including CEOs, industrialists, and other high-net-worth individuals. Over the past two years, the project has drawn attention for its record-breaking property deals, including purchases by Bajaj Auto Chairman Niraj Bajaj and members of industrialist J.P. Taparia’s family.

Dream11 Co-founder’s Rise

Harsh Jain co-founded Dream11 in 2008 with Bhavit Sheth, transforming it into one of India’s most popular fantasy gaming platforms. The company is valued at over Rs 60,000 crore and has millions of active users. 

Jain’s entrepreneurial journey has earned him recognition, including a spot on IDFC FIRST Private & Hurun India’s Top 200 Self-made Entrepreneurs of the Millennia list in 2024.
