Invest4Edu onboards Hemika Tanwar and Chintan Kotak

Education fintech firm Invest4Edu has announced the addition of Hemika Tanwar and Chintan Kotak as co-founders. Tanwar steps in as Chief People Officer, while Kotak will take on the role of Global Business Head.

The company aims to capture a significant share of India’s growing $2.5 billion ed-fintech market. With their extensive experience and shared vision, both Tanwar and Kotak are expected to drive fast and consistent growth within the company, according to the company.

Who is Hemika Tanwar?

Hemika Tanwar completed her Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the ITM Group of Institutions. She began her professional career at IIFL, where she held several roles, including HR Coordinator, HR Manager, and HR Business Partner. In addition to this, Tanwar has also worked at IndusInd and Mornington Peninsula Shire.

Who is Chintan Kotak?

Chintan Kotak is a Business and Sales maven with a deep-seated passion for the intricacies of Wealth Management and Capital Markets. An MBA in Finance with over two decades of experience, he excels in transforming ventures into profit centres, scaling businesses to unprecedented heights, forging strategic partnerships, and pioneering innovative business strategies. 

Prior to this, He worked as Sr Director IIFL Securities and held leadership roles at Kotak Securities, and Motilal Oswal Securities

CEO Agrawal highlights the critical roles of both co-founders

Peeyush Agrawal, CEO of Invest4Edu, highlighted the critical roles both co-founders will play in the company’s expansion. Agrawal emphasized Tanwar’s responsibility in building a robust human capital framework, essential for the company’s ambitious growth targets.

‘Hemika will help invest4Edu to build the right human capital to achieve the pace and scale we are aiming for. She ensures that the company’s culture is developed and maintained in the right manner where the company is achieving its target as well as the people are growing to the level they deserve," Agarwal said.

Who are the founders?

Founded in 2021 by a team of financial industry veterans Peeyush Agrawal, Rozy Efzal, Tushar Bopche, Aditya Agarwala, and Manoj Sharma, The firm addresses a pain point—67% of Indian parents struggle with ineffective education planning for their children, leading to financial stress.

With 5000 users, an asset under management of Rs 20 crore, and Rs 12 crore in study abroad loan disbursals within six months, its revenue streams are commissions on financial products and subscription fees for educational services.
