BluSmart, South Asia’s leading all-electric ride-hailing and charging infrastructure network, has announced the appointment of Rupa Devi Singh as an Independent Director on its board.
Known for her extensive experience in banking, infrastructure advisory, and finance, Ms. Singh’s expertise aligns with BluSmart’s mission of advancing sustainable urban mobility across India and South Asia.
Rupa Devi Singh’s professional background
Ms. Singh is a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in the field of Banking, Infrastructure Advisory and Finance.
She has held key executive roles, including her tenure as the Founder, Managing Director & CEO at Power Exchange India Ltd. (PXIL). Additionally, she has served as an Independent Director and Non-Executive (Part-Time) Chairman at DCB Bank Ltd.
She currently serves on the boards of other reputed companies like JSW Energy & its subsidiaries, Aarti Industries Ltd., amongst others.

Operating a fleet of approximately 8,000 electric vehicles and managing over 5,000 EV chargers across 50 hubs in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru, the company is dedicated to providing clean transportation alternatives.
BluSmart recently expanded internationally with a premium all-electric limousine service in the UAE and has secured a U.S. patent for its electric mobility allocation system, highlighting its commitment to technological innovation in sustainable mobility.
