Fintech giant Paytm partners with Arunachal Pradesh to grow startup ecosystem

Indian Fintech giant Paytm has partnered with Arunachal Pradesh Innovation and Investment Park (APIIP) to support young entrepreneurs in the northeastern state.

>According to the statement, The collaboration aims to create a startup ecosystem and boost business ventures for the youth. Under the partnership, Paytm said it will offer its products to early-stage startups at discounted prices and provide free credits through the Paytm Startup toolkit.

The initiative is expected to encourage and support young entrepreneurs in the state. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed at the Arunachal Pradesh Innovation & Investment Park, in the presence of CEO Tabe Haidar.

Paytm facilitates transactions for small merchants and offers various financial services through partnerships with financial institutions.

"We are happy to partner with the government of Arunachal Pradesh in its journey to create a vibrant start-up ecosystem. At the Paytm Incubation Centre, we strive to catalyse the start-up ecosystem in India and help young entrepreneurs gain new user acquisition, access funds and more facilities,” the spokesperson of Paytm Payment Services said.

"Our comprehensive platform helps businesses to expand their digital presence with quick integration of payment, brand and commerce solutions," he added. Paytm is India's payment app, which offers consumers and merchants payment services. It is a pioneer of mobile QR payments in the country.
