Manjari Singhal

In a key leadership transition, Cleartrip, the online travel platform owned by Flipkart, has announced the appointment of Manjari Singhal as its new chief growth and business officer. Singhal succeeds Anuj Rathi, who is stepping down to explore new opportunities.

The move comes at a time when Flipkart is deepening its focus on travel as a strategic growth vertical. In her new role, Manjari will oversee the Business, Growth, Marketing, and Customer Experience functions. She will work closely with Anuj over the next month to ensure a smooth and seamless handover.

Prior to this appointment, Singhal led the Beauty, FMCG, and General Merchandise categories at Flipkart, and has held cross-functional leadership roles since joining the company in 2019.

"Travel is a significant focus for us at Flipkart, and we are deeply committed to investing in and scaling the business to unlock its huge potential. We are excited to welcome Manjari into this pivotal role. With her proven leadership, strategic vision, and deep understanding of customer behaviour, we are confident she will lead Cleartrip into its next phase of expansion," said Ajay Veer Yadav, Senior Vice President at Flipkart.

Cleartrip, which has operated as a Flipkart company since 2021, has undergone significant restructuring and brand repositioning.

Under Rathi's stewardship, the platform saw a marked improvement in customer acquisition and engagement, particularly through high-visibility campaigns such as "Nation on Vacation" and Flipkart's flagship Big Billion Days.

"We thank Anuj for his immense contributions to Cleartrip over the past year. His leadership has helped the platform scale to new heights, and we wish him the very best as he embarks on his next chapter," Yadav added.

"From strengthening customer trust to scaling new business milestones, it's been an incredible journey. I leave confident that Cleartrip is in capable hands as it enters its next phase," Rathi said.

"Cleartrip has built a strong foundation as a travel-first brand with a customer-first philosophy," said Singhal. "With 2025 being a critical year for growth, our focus will be on delivering value, enhancing experiences, and innovating in ways that make travel simpler and more rewarding for every Indian."
