Furniture-focused ecommerce firm Pepperfry elevates Madhusudan Bihani to CFO

Pepperfry, a leading e-commerce platform for furniture and home decor, has elevated Madhusudan Bihani to the position of chief financial officer (CFO).

The move is part of the company's strategy to strengthen its leadership team as it gears up for its next growth phase.

Bihani’s journey with Pepperfry

Madhusudan Bihani, a Chartered Accountant by profession, joined Pepperfry in 2019 as assistant vice president (AVP) of finance. He was elevated to vice president (VP) of finance in 2021.

Over the years, he has played a crucial role in driving Pepperfry’s growth, financial discipline, operational efficiencies, and robust compliance frameworks. His efforts have been instrumental in improving profitability, streamlining financial operations, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Prior to joining Pepperfry, Bihani spent a decade with Kraft Heinz, a major player in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector, where he demonstrated excellence in driving financial efficiencies and ensuring business compliance.

Vision for the future

In his new role as CFO, Bihani will oversee corporate strategy, financial planning, fundraising, legal, and corporate affairs.
