Chennai-based drone maker Garuda Aerospace has introduced a border patrol surveillance drone named Trishul. The advanced drone is designed to enhance monitoring capabilities across various sectors, including people movement, natural disasters, and traffic management. 

Advanced features for comprehensive monitoring

Trishul is equipped with an array of sophisticated sensors, including high-definition cameras, infra-red, and radar technologies. These features enable the drone to gather detailed data on speed and potential safety threats, offering a new level of surveillance efficiency.

Agnishwar Jayaprakash, the Founder-CEO of Garuda Aerospace, emphasized the company's dedication to creating a sustainable drone ecosystem. "The launch of Trishul exemplifies our commitment to building a sustainable drone ecosystem, with products and services that set new benchmarks," Jayaprakash stated.

Notably, Trishul provides users with uninterrupted access to critical real-time information. This capability is crucial for prompt decision-making in various scenarios, from emergency response to routine surveillance operations.

Funding and investors 

Garuda Aerospace is backed by Cricket legend Mahindra Singh Dhoni. He first invested an undisclosed amount in June 2022. Following this, Garuda Aerospace raised around $30 million in funding from investors, including Venture Catalysts, We Founder Circle, Sphiticap, HEM Angels, SAN Angels Network, and Peaceful Progress.
