The initiative, in partnership with TeamLease Degree Apprenticeship (TLDA), aims to bridge the skill gap by providing hands-on training and supervision to aspiring professionals.

"In collaboration with Genpact, who will employ 5,000 graduate apprentices, we are committed to bridging the skill gap that will provide aspiring professionals with practical, hands-on training and supervision, ensuring they flourish in a tough environment and build successful careers," said Dhriti Prasanna Mahanta, Vice President, TeamLease Degree Apprenticeship.

Addressing the skill gap

Apprenticeships have become vital for talent acquisition in the past 4-5 years. Genpact's partnership with TeamLease aims to address the industry's skill deficit of 3.85 million, particularly in the IT and BPM sectors.

The 12-month Graduate Apprenticeship Programme offers a unique blend of work experience and formal education, focusing on both technical training and soft skill development.

Genpact is hiring across the country, inviting job applications for various roles from experienced professionals and fresh graduates.

With over 3,000 jobs posted on its career page, the company offers opportunities for both freshers and lateral hires. Freshers can join the company's Campus Community, which offers unrivalled career opportunities and direct access to industry leaders.

"The Graduate Apprenticeship Programme strategically aims to nurture a future-ready workforce through personalized growth trajectories," said Ritu Bhatia, Global Hiring Leader, Genpact.

Programs offered: The NEXTGEN Campus Graduate Program is designed for graduates seeking their first full-time role. The NEXTGEN Internship Program is aimed at students looking to gain practical business experience during their academic studies.

Building a future-ready workforce

Genpact’s collaboration with TLDA leverages TLDA’s Degree Apprenticeship programme to provide on-the-job training, addressing immediate skill needs while fostering long-term talent growth. By emphasizing technical expertise and soft skill development, the program aims to cultivate a sustainable workforce amidst global economic challenges.

"Apprenticeships have emerged as indispensable talent supply chain interventions across various industries. Our partnership with Genpact seeks to address the skill deficit and provide aspiring professionals with practical, hands-on training," said Mahanta.
