Leap, the global study-abroad platform known for helping students access international education and career opportunities, has elevated Rajan Chaudhary to the role of co-founder.

The leadership announcement comes as the company strengthens its executive team during a key phase of international expansion.

Rajan, who joined Leap over five years ago, has played a central role in shaping the company's technology and product strategy. He most recently served as Assistant Vice President of Engineering, driving technological evolution, scaling its platforms and advancing product innovation.

What does Leap do?

Leap, founded in 2019, operates multiple platforms, including LeapScholar, LeapFinance, GeeBee, and Yocket, catering to study-abroad aspirants. It provides test preparation, counselling for admissions and visas, and financial support through student loans.

It primarily focuses on destinations like the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia, and is now expanding into the Middle East and Southeast Asia. It claims partnerships with over 1,000 international institutions.

With more than $400 million raised from leading investors such as Owl Ventures, Jungle Ventures and Peak XV Partners, Leap reported a 113.7% increase in operating revenue in FY24, reaching Rs 174.92 crore.
