As an extension of that, the tech giant has announced a feature to help offline stores go online. A 30% increase in clicks on listings that direct to small and medium business websites was an evident reason.
This feature will help the local stores leverage their business by posting their products on “Google My Business” and the users can shop online in their local languages. Their products will directly appear in the product listings on Search and in the Google Shopping tab.
The special add-on to this is the users being able to search and the merchants being able to post products in local languages. Well, the arrival of the idea is because 9 out of 10 new users coming online are Indian users from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. Of course, Google Translate is another support for language translation.
Presently, Google Shopping has about 200 Mn offers.
