Groyyo, a cross-border manufacturing and supply chain enablement platform in the fashion and lifestyle sectors, has announced the appointment of two senior industry veterans to its leadership team.
The company has appointed Smita Verma Kansal as the Chief Business Officer (CBO) and Alessandro Bertini as Vice President – Commercial.

Smita Verma Kansal, previously Senior Vice President and founding member of Geniemode, brings over 26 years of experience in sourcing and operations leadership to Groyyo.

Smita Verma Kansal joins as Chief Business Officer
Smita Verma Kansal, previously Senior Vice President and founding member of Geniemode, brings over 26 years of experience in sourcing and operations leadership to Groyyo.
As CBO, Kansal will focus on expanding the company’s global presence, particularly in the U.S. market, and strengthening its partnerships with major brands like Mango, Next, and Inditex.
She also brings expertise in leading strategic operations across Bangladesh and India for UK, European, and U.S. markets.

Alessandro Bertini joins as Vice President – Commercial
Alessandro Bertini, fondly known as Alex among his colleagues, has been appointed as Groyyo’s Vice President – Commercial. Bertini comes with a wealth of experience from his previous roles with renowned fashion brands such as MANGO, Massimo Dutti, and Zalando.
His deep industry connections and expertise in business development and assortment strategies are expected to play a pivotal role in expanding Groyyo’s commercial footprint and brand tie-ups.
Bertini’s vast experience in the fashion industry, including managing business partnerships with brands like Esprit and Benetton, will support Groyyo’s mission to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the manufacturing sector expand their global reach.

Under the leadership of Kansal and Bertini, Groyyo aims to continue its mission to digitize and enable over 20 million SME manufacturers across Asia. By leveraging their extensive expertise in manufacturing and sourcing, the two executives are expected to drive Groyyo's international growth and enhance its platform solutions.
The company is focused on using technology to streamline the supply chain and increase efficiency for SMEs, helping them tap into global markets.
