Gupshup, a global leader in Conversational AI Engagement, has appointed Trisnia Anchali Kardia as its new Country Head for Indonesia.

Anchali’s role will focus on expanding the company’s enterprise business and driving market leadership amid Indonesia’s booming digital landscape.

This move comes as the demand for AI-driven conversational solutions continues to grow, positioning Indonesia as a critical market for Gupshup’s growth strategy.

Anchali’s extensive experience in business messaging

Anchali Kardia brings over a decade of experience in business messaging, technology sales, and e-commerce, making her a valuable addition to Gupshup.

She previously served as the Country Head at Graas, an e-commerce analytics firm, where she drove revenue growth by more than 120% and significantly expanded the client base.

Her career also includes leadership roles at prominent tech firms such as Telkomsel, where she led the launch of digital advertising solutions, and Zomato Indonesia, where she headed sales initiatives.

At Line Corporation, as Chief Commercial Officer, Anchali oversaw marketing, product development, and business strategies for the company’s enterprise messaging service.

Her work at Line further cemented her status as an expert in the messaging industry, equipping her with the skills to navigate Indonesia’s rapidly evolving tech ecosystem.

Indonesia represents one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing markets for Conversational AI.

The country’s technological transformation, combined with the rising number of mobile-first consumers and increased adoption of AI-driven tools, has fueled a significant demand for seamless communication solutions. 

The conversational commerce market in Indonesia is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19% from 2022 to 2028, with transaction values expected to rise from $12.7 billion in 2023 to $30.3 billion by 2028.
