Talent Management and Software solution startup HackerEarth crossed 4M+ developers globally in its online developers' community.
HackerEarth on Friday (September 11) announced that it has grown its user base by 120%, which led them to surpass 4M+ community members.
The startup till now has raised $11.5M in its total funding round. In 2018, It raised $6.5M in its Series B funding round from the family office of Jo Hirao (CEO of ZIGExN).

HackerEarth is a US-headquartered startup that focuses on helping companies and businesses with the needs of technical hiring. The startup was founded in November 2012 by former Google engineer Sachin Gupta and his IIT batchmate Vivek Prakash.
The startup also manages one of the largest developers community having more than 4M+ developers which thrives their growing career.
HackerEarth till now has raised $11.5 million (Rs 84 crores ) in its total funding round. The latest funding was said to be raised $6.5 million from the family office of Jo Hirao in 2018 as a Series B funding round.
Furthermore, The startup is having a total of 15 investors in which DHI Group invested $4.5 million in 2017, playing a lead investor role in the startup.
According to the CrunchBase, The startup is having a total of 8 investors in which Beenos Partners and BizReach are the most recent investors.
The startup has till now raised three seed fundings:
- TA Ventures in 2013 as the first round of its seed funding.
- Prime Venture Partners (formerly Angel Prime) $500K as part of the second seed funding round.
- Smile Group in 2014 as part of its third seed funding round.
Moreover, The startup also hosts virtual Hackathons, An Event of the hacking marathon to engage internal and external talent. With over 400+ hackathon hosted (including COVID-19 hackathon - HackCovid) in which more than 4500 users registered. The main purpose of hosting this event is to find solutions to fight against COVID-19.
