Headstart's HSX 2023 brought together 800 startups, founders, VCs, and entrepreneurs at its annual startup summit

Headstart, one of India's largest startup ecosystem enablers, recently hosted its annual flagship event, HSX 2023, at SAP Labs in Whitefield, Bengaluru

The summit, renowned for fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, attracted over 1300 participants, including founders, venture capitalists, and aspiring entrepreneurs, marking it as a convergence of over 800 startups.

The event was a hub of knowledge and innovation, featuring over 30 startup stalls, 35 esteemed speakers, and five insightful workshops. It provided a platform for distinguished industry leaders like Deena Jacob of OPEN Financial Technologies, Harish Narayanan, former CMO of Myntra and Upstox, and Vivek Sridhar from Microsoft for Startups, among others, to share their invaluable insights on a range of topics, including the future of the VC market in 2024 and the emerging technologies poised to shape the next decade for Indian startups.

A key highlight of HSX 2023 was the introduction of the HS Beyond initiative, dedicated to mentoring growth-stage startups aiming for international expansion.

The event provided 50 startups from various states with workshops designed to support them in establishing trade tie-ups with relevant organizations in target countries. The event also featured a boosters pavilion, offering exclusive deals from service providers in essential areas like co-working spaces, design software subscriptions, and branding services.

Amit Singh, co-founder of Headstart, said, “We are here to serve, and I am delighted to witness that more than 50% of participants have traveled to Bangalore from across the country to participate in HSX. Our endeavor has been to facilitate as many connections to HSX participants as possible, and we would continue to make them win via our local chapters across the country”.

What is Headstart Network Foundation?

Headstart Network Foundation, established in 2007, has been a cornerstone in connecting aspiring entrepreneurs with mentors and investors, conducting over 3,000 startup events annually and facilitating over 200,000 connections, impacting 15,000+ ventures every year.

The foundation operates as a not-for-profit organization, run by volunteers, and has a presence in over 23 cities in India and internationally in Finland, Dubai, and Germany, with a community of over 50,000 members.
