Namit Chugh
HealthQuad, the healthcare-focused venture capital arm of Quadria Group, has appointed Namit Chugh as Director as it looks to sharpen its investment thesis around deep-tech, medtech, and digital care delivery models.
The appointment comes as HealthQuad raises its third fund and expands its focus on building category-defining ventures across India’s evolving healthcare ecosystem.
Chugh brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare investing and consulting, with a track record that spans early-stage funding, venture studio creation, and deep engagement with founders.
Prior to joining HealthQuad, he was Principal at W Health Ventures, where he played a pivotal role in sourcing and leading investments in companies such as Wysa, an AI-powered mental health platform; BeatO, a digital diabetes care startup; and Mylo, a content-commerce platform for new and expecting parents. He also helped incubate 2070 Health, India’s first healthcare venture studio.
Chugh’s earlier stints include roles at Lok Capital, where he invested across healthcare, insurtech, and consumer-tech sectors, and consulting roles at Alvarez & Marsal and PwC, advising healthcare clients on strategy and transactions.
At HealthQuad, Chugh will be responsible for identifying high-impact investment opportunities across deeptech domains and AI-enabled healthcare models, strengthening founder engagement, and driving thematic investment strategies across the fund’s core areas such as digital care, medtech, and biopharma
His appointment coincides with the launch of HealthQuad Fund III, a $200 million fund (with a $100 million greenshoe option), as the firm doubles down on next-generation healthcare models aimed at improving access, affordability, and outcomes.
“We are excited to welcome Namit to the HealthQuad team,” said Dr. Amit Varma, Co-founder of HealthQuad. “His ability to identify and scale ventures with real-world healthcare impact aligns strongly with our mission.”
Commenting on his new role, Chugh said, “Joining HealthQuad at this exciting phase is a natural next step in my journey of backing meaningful healthcare innovation. I look forward to building scalable, tech-enabled, and impactful healthcare models that improve access and outcomes for millions.”
