IDFC FIRST Bank introduces AI-powered avatar of Amitabh Bachchan

IDFC FIRST Bank has launched an AI-powered holographic digital avatar of the country’s most celebrated and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.

The innovative Holographic Extended Reality (HXR) device enables customers to interact with the legendary actor's digital representation to access details about banking products and services.

The first device has been launched at IDFC FIRST Bank's Juhu branch in Mumbai. The bank plans to deploy similar devices across high-footfall branches and other strategic locations nationwide.

A technological leap in banking  

The HXR device, developed in collaboration with Ikonz Studios, offers touch-enabled interaction. Customers can inquire about key services such as Zero Fee Banking, Monthly Interest Credits, Mobile Banking, and the unique Current Account BRAVO. The Bank will integrate additional product offerings in subsequent phases.

According to the bank, the content delivered by the avatar is carefully scripted for clarity and engagement, emphasizing the bank’s focus on personalized and accessible banking solutions.
