IIT Bombay's E-Cell announces launch of flagship conclave, E-Summit'24 for startup founders

The Entrepreneurship Cell of IIT Bombay is set to host its annual flagship conclave, E-Summit'24, called as 'the Nexus of Ingenuity'.

The conclave, which is scheduled for the 3rd and 4th of February, aims to bridge the gap between today's leaders and tomorrow's innovators, highlighting the role of entrepreneurship for strengthening the Indian economy.

E-Summit'24 boasts a diverse array of events specifically tailored for startup founders and business enthusiasts. These include 'The Ten Minute Million', giving startups a chance to pitch to 16 investors for up to Rs 24 lakh, and 'Seed Stars', a platform for seed-stage startups to connect with mentors. 

The conclave also features 'I Summit' for fast-track incubation, a 'Networking Arena' for interactions with industry experts, the 'Startup Expo' showcasing various ventures, and workshops on Neuromarketing, AI & ML, and Digital Marketing.

The event will host over 80 speaker sessions featuring prominent industry figures such as Bhavish Aggarwal, Founder & CEO of Ola Cabs; Rajat Sharma, Chairman & Editor in Chief of India TV; Niranjan Hiranandani, Founder & MD of Hiranandani Group; content creators Abhi & Niyu; Celebrity Chef Sanjeev Kapoor; and Raghav Bahl, Founder of The Quint & Network 18, among others.

Interestingly, Students can test their business acumen by participating in competitions like the IPL Auction, Leader’s Quest, Bid & Build, Corporate Duel, Fish Tank, and Ace the Case, with prize money exceeding Rs 1 lakh.

The event also caters to finance enthusiasts with a Virtual Stock Market and offers an opportunity to explore diplomacy and international leadership through Entre-MUN.
