The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras will host InvesTinder, an invite-only matchmaking event aimed at connecting high-potential startups with angel investors and investment networks, with registrations closing on January 18.
The event will be held on February 7, 2026, at the IIT Madras campus.
InvesTinder is designed to facilitate focused, one-on-one meetings between startups and investors through a curated matchmaking process that aligns participants by sector, stage and strategic interests. The format is intended to help founders engage directly with relevant investors while offering angels structured access to vetted startup opportunities.
The event will be conducted in three stages. The first stage involves registration, which remains open until January 18.
In the second stage, participants will use the InvesTinder portal, where startups and investors create public profiles and receive recommended matches based on user-defined tags. Participants can send and receive meeting requests through the portal, with accepted requests automatically converted into scheduled meeting slots.
The final stage will take place on February 7, beginning with an introductory address by the organisers. Startups and investors will then participate in pre-scheduled, closed-door, one-on-one meetings lasting 25 minutes each. Startups will rotate across tables for subsequent meetings, while unscheduled time can be used for peer networking in a designated networking area.
Alongside investor meetings, participants will also gain exposure to the broader E-Summit environment and student community at IIT Madras.
In the previous edition of the event, organisers reported more than 90 meetings, over 150 startup registrations and participation from more than 15 investors.
