India Accelerator, V S Fortune launch ‘LeapFWD’ to boost proptech and construction tech startups in India

India Accelerator (IA), a multistage fund-led accelerator, in collaboration with V S Fortune, has launched LeapFWD, a sector-focused accelerator programme aimed at identifying, nurturing, and scaling high-potential startups driving innovation in the proptech and construction-tech sectors.

The initiative seeks to bridge the gap between innovation and industry adoption by empowering ten startups working at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and construction efficiency.

Over a four-month cycle, participants will receive structured mentorship, business development support, and access to a joint funding pool of Rs 100 to 150 crore contributed by IA, V S Fortune, and their investor networks.

The programme will serve as a launchpad for solutions in areas such as smart real estate, automation in construction, sustainable materials, and digital infrastructure. Startups will also have opportunities to pilot their products with real-estate developers, infrastructure firms, and other ecosystem partners.

Through LeapFWD, we are creating a focused platform for startups to bring innovation, transparency, and sustainability to the forefront—helping redefine how India builds for the future,” said Ashish Bhatia, founder of India Accelerator.

Applications for the first cohort are open until November 20, 2025. The programme begins in December and runs until March 2026, culminating in a Demo Day where founders will present their innovations to investors, corporates, and industry stakeholders.

Founded in 2017, India Accelerator operates fund-led programmes across sectors such as defence technology, artificial intelligence, mobility, sustainability, health-tech, and consumer services, offering startups mentorship, capital access, and global networks.
