Indian conversational AI startup CoRover has partnered with American semiconductor company Intel to launch offline BharatGPT Mini, a Sovereign AI solution designed for enterprises and governments.
The startup said that the technology enables secure, multilingual, and offline AI experiences with low latency, especially for sectors like defence, healthcare, BFSI, retail and rural access.
The solution's multilingual support and offline capabilities will also expand access to AI in areas with limited internet connectivity. Notably, offline BharatGPT Mini can work seamlessly on edge devices without internet connectivity, reducing reliance on cloud infrastructure and saving substantial computing costs.
Offline BharatGPT Mini leverages Intel's revolutionary technology, including Intel Core Ultra processors and OpenVINO Toolkit, to deliver optimized performance, scalability, and security.
The development comes three month after CoRover raised funding from India's largest private sector bank, HDFC Bank.
