Indian beauty and wellness brand Beautywise has raised Rs 6.5 crore in its first external funding round led by AC Ventures, with participation from Fluid Ventures, Real-Time Angel Fund (RTAF), GSF, and the LetsVenture Angel Fund.
Expanding product offerings
The startup aims to fuel its growth by introducing innovative products in the beauty and wellness sector, expanding the team, and enhancing its retail footprint both in India and globally.
Founded by Anousha Chauhan and Shreyansh Chauhan, Beautywise plans to use the funds for market research, establishing distribution networks, and promotional activities to reach a wider audience.

This fundraise represents a pivotal step towards realizing our vision of empowering individuals to achieve their authentic beauty and wellness through our dermatology-led, results-driven formulations."
Focusing on global expansion
Notably, It also plans to utilize the funding to expand its presence in the USA, Middle East, and European markets.
The brand's innovative approach includes exploring a Business-to-Direct-to-Consumer (B2D2C) platform to onboard dermatologists, nutritionists, and beauty professionals, enhancing their offerings and serving consumers better.
The approach aligns with the surge in online supplement sales and the growing demand in the Beauty Retail and Aesthetic Dermatology Clinics sectors.
Delivering dermatologist-recommended solutions
Beautywise's product offerings, including collagen, glutathione, keratin, and ceramides, are available in aesthetic clinic chains, retail outlets, and online platforms such as Nykaa and Amazon.
It provides scientifically supported and dermatologist-recommended solutions. The startup claims to have presence in over 500 pharmacies and endorsements from more than 150 Skin Clinics across India.
