BorderPlus, the global talent mobility platform that helps skilled professionals build international careers, has announced its expansion into Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC region, less than a year after launching operations.
The GCC healthcare ecosystem is projected to require over 50,000 additional nurses by 2027, driven by rapid population growth, rising chronic disease burden, and major healthcare investments across the region.
In response, BorderPlus will now partner with hospitals, long-term care operators, and medical facilities across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman, providing structured, compliance-driven workforce solutions while ensuring migrant nurses access safe, dignified, and well-supported international career opportunities.
"Our expansion into Saudi Arabia and the GCC marks a significant milestone in BorderPlus" mission to build transparent, high-quality global mobility pathways for migrant nurses," said Ayush Mathur, co-founder of BorderPlus.
"The region is experiencing significant demand for skilled healthcare professionals. Our work in Germany has taught us a lot, and while the GCC presents its own challenges, we believe the same transparent, talent-first approach can work here too. This step strengthens our commitment to both sides providing hospitals with reliable talent and empowering nurses with life- changing international opportunities."
“As we strengthen our presence in the GCC, we are also laying the groundwork for our next phase of global growth, extending our model to high-demand markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. We are actively leveraging new age technology and AI to build a more connected mobility ecosystem for nurses and healthcare institutions”, commented, Mayank Kumar, CEO & Co-Founder, BorderPlus
BorderPlus will begin onboarding its first GCC-focused nurse cohorts starting January 2026, with multiple partnerships already underway with hospitals and long-term care providers across Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
To support this expansion, the company has established an operational presence in Dubai, enabling seamless employer coordination, documentation oversight, and on-ground support for nursing professionals.
BorderPlus offers solution that includes language training, job readiness, ethical recruitment, and post-arrival support for migrant workers.
