Homegrown insurtech startup InsuranceDekho recently announced a series of key leadership appointments as it looks to accelerate growth and innovation across its operations.
The firm has named new leaders in business strategy, sales, and analytics, with a mix of internal promotions and external hires, underscoring its commitment to building a robust leadership team.
Who are the newly appointed leaders?
In a strategic move, Navneet Bhatt has joined InsuranceDekho as Chief Business Officer for New Business, overseeing MGA, Reinsurance, and Actuarial Analytics.
Bhatt brings over 23 years of experience in actuarial analytics, underwriting, and business strategy, having held senior positions with Takaful Oman Insurance, Tata AIG, and Royal Sundaram Alliance.
His extensive industry knowledge is expected to support InsuranceDekho’s expansion into new segments, enhancing its analytic and business model integration efforts.
Additionally, Vivek Aggarwal has been appointed as VP and Head of Finance. With over two decades of expertise from companies like HCL, Genpact, Airtel, and Info Edge, Aggarwal is known for his skills in process optimization, compliance, and investor relations.
His role will involve oversight of business finance, tax, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A), with a focus on reinforcing InsuranceDekho's financial functions.
Internal talent promotion
InsuranceDekho also promoted Aman Batra, who has served in the company for four years, to Chief Strategy Officer.
Batra’s 12-year background in Business Strategy, Corporate Development, and Data Analytics has been instrumental in the company’s growth.
Leadership comments
Commenting on the appointments, Divya Mohan, Chief Human Resources Officer, expressed enthusiasm for the new leadership team. “We are thrilled to welcome Navneet and Vivek and to promote Aman for his significant contributions. Expansion plans
InsuranceDekho has made significant strides in recent months, onboarding over 30 senior leaders across its key functions.
The firm plans to increase its workforce by over 1,000 professionals in the near future, focusing on its B2B and B2B2C segments to enhance customer value and business growth.
