IPV Ideaschool opens application for third edition of accelerator programme

Gurugram-based Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), one of India’s most active angel investment funds, recently announced the launch of 3rd edition of IPV Ideaschool accelerator program.

Started in January 2024, IPV Ideaschool is a mentorship-based program for early-stage startups (Pre seed to seed stage) to refine their ideas, build robust business models, and secure pre-seed funding starting with 1 Crore from IPV.

The program aims to elevate businesses from the idea stage to MVP in just 8 weeks. 

Mentorship and funding opportunities

According to the firm, aspiring startups can apply between January 28, 2025, and February 15, 2025, for a chance to gain expert mentorship, funding opportunities, and industry connections that pave the way for scalable growth.

Over the past 12 months, the program has launched 6 successful startups and with the third batch, we further reinforce our commitment to support startups which add value to our ecosystem and economy as a whole.” 

Over the past two batches, IPV Ideaschool received more than 1,500 applications, meticulously shortlisting only 250 startups—100 in Batch 1 and 150 in Batch 2.

Startups from smaller cities

IPV Ideaschool Batch 2.0 saw an impressive response, with startups pouring in from a diverse mix of metros and smaller cities, representing a wide range of innovative sectors. Notably, 75 applications came from women-centric startups, underscoring the program's inclusivity and appeal.

After rigorous evaluation, My Pahadi Dukan, Connektra.io, and Vividobots emerged as winners, collectively securing substantial funding. 

My Pahadi Dukan is expanding its D2C brand, sourcing authentic Himalayan health and wellness products from 20,000+ farmers and cooperatives. Connektra.io is enhancing its no-code AI-enabled workflow automation platform to help enterprises reduce costs and accelerate delivery. Vividobots is developing robotic solutions for automating exterior building painting and cleaning, making the process significantly more efficient and cost-effective.

The program’s mentorship panel comprised IPV’s Leadership Team—Vinay Bansal, Mitesh Shah, Ankur Mittal, and Vikram Ramasubramanian—along with renowned industry leaders such as Kabir Kochhar (Founder and Managing Partner of Audacity Venture Capital), Kapil Kochhar (Sales Leader for Digital Natives at Google Cloud), Anand Banka (Director - Technical Accounting Group at Barclays) and Rajiv Kochar (CFO of Pluss Advanced Technologies). These experts provided strategic guidance and actionable insights to the startups.
