ISN Exclusive: Billionaire Nikhil Kamath may hire former CTO of Snapchat for his new social media platform

Billionaire entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath is putting pieces together to launch his own social media platform over the coming months, highly placed sources have informed IndianStartupNews (ISN).

“Mr Kamath is currently on the lookout for top talent who have previously worked at major social media companies, like Snapchat and more, for CXO roles at his new social media platform. The other roles will open up soon as well,” sources said.

The plans and how the social media platform will be constructed and what it will focus on are all details that are still under wraps.

Kamath’s team chose not to reply to ISN’s queries. More recently, Kamath had met with mega billionaire Elon Musk, who runs X (Twitter) and more, on his popular podcast where the duo exchanged ideas including on what social media of the future will look like.

ISN has been on top of all developments related to Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath. Kamath has also invested Rs 4-5 crore in Cafe Amudham, ISN had exclusively reported nearly a year ago.
