KiranaPro, an ONDC-based neighborhood quick commerce platform, has formed a strategic partnership with ZuperAI, a startup known for its AI-driven commerce solutions.
The collaboration is expected to transform market intelligence, product matchmaking and personalized shopping experiences for small retailers across India.
Revolutionizing quick commerce
KiranaPro plans to use ZuperAI’s advanced matchmaking technology to improve product discovery, streamline inventory and boost supply chain efficiency. This means local retailers can scale their businesses more easily, while consumers can instantly find the products they need.
This AI-driven approach will bridge the gap between consumer needs and retailer capabilities, creating a frictionless and intelligent shopping experience, the release notes.
Leadership comments
“At KiranaPro, we are committed to equipping neighborhood retailers with next-gen technology. Partnering with ZuperAI allows us to bring powerful AI solutions that redefine how products are discovered, sold, and delivered in the ONDC ecosystem,” said Deepak Ravindran, Founder & CEO of KiranaPro.
“This collaboration is a game-changer for AI-driven commerce, unlocking new levels of precision, personalization, and operational efficiency.”
ZuperAI’s Founder & CEO, Arun Perooli, who has been an early supporter of KiranaPro’s 0-1 strategy, emphasized the long-term impact of AI in commerce: “ZuperAI was built to push the boundaries of AI innovation. Our collaboration with KiranaPro aligns with our vision to make AI-powered commerce more efficient, accessible, and intelligent—especially for small and medium retailers who form the backbone of India’s economy.”
Social impact and collaboration
Beyond commerce, KiranaPro and ZuperAI have also teamed up to tackle social challenges. Both companies are working together on Fix Bengaluru, a community-led initiative that aims to address the city’s water crisis through data-driven innovation and AI-based solutions.
Last week, AI-powered quick commerce platform onboarded PV Sindhu, India’s badminton icon, as both an investor and brand ambassador. It also acquired Joper.app, a grocery delivery service that links small Kirana stores with customers.
