Kusho has raised $600,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Antler India, with participation from Blume Founders Fund and UpSparks Capital.
The round also saw participation from angel investors, including Mohit Kumar, Vatsal Singhal, and Ashok Hariharan. The startup has a mission to enhance software reliability through AI agents.
Who are the founders?
Founded in 2023 by BITS Pilani alumni Abhishek Saikia and Sourabh Gawande, Kusho is the brainchild of professionals with deep roots in software development and product management.
Gawande has extensive experience in software development, including his role at FalconX. On the other hand, Saikia has expertise in product management from his tenure at Flipkart.
Revolutionizing software testing with AI
Kusho introduces a method of using proprietary models and foundational LLMs to simulate an AI software developer. This AI is capable of identifying bugs in code with unprecedented accuracy and speed, far surpassing human capabilities, as per the startup.
It leverages these AI agents to ensure thorough testing of code throughout the development process and upon every new release.
Empowering developers, enhancing quality
Kusho said its technology aims to alleviate the burdens faced by software developers, allowing them to concentrate on creating and deploying high-quality software without the worry of overlooked bugs.
“We empower software developers to focus on building and shipping great software without having to worry about unnoticed bugs, ultimately saving time, enhancing overall codebase quality, and making releases stable and error-free. By automating manual and time-consuming tasks, developers can significantly reduce time-to-market and project costs, making Kusho an invaluable asset for tech teams,” said Saikia, co-founder and CEO of Kusho.
