Shadowfax, a logistics service provider for ecommerce companies, has recently launched Flash, an on-demand delivery service app.
According to the company, the service is designed to cater to the immediate delivery needs within cities, promising a delivery time of just 30 minutes. It aims to redefine the standards of speed, reliability, and cost efficiency in last-mile delivery solutions.
Flash's urban teach
The company said that Flash has established its presence in over 50 cities, positioning itself as a formidable competitor in the urban delivery market. The expansion is part of Shadowfax's strategy to challenge existing services like Dunzo and to expand its logistical footprint across a wide urban landscape.
The efficiency of milk run deliveries
The company said Flash has employed the 'milk run' delivery model, consolidating multiple shipments into a single delivery route, enhancing efficiency and reducing delivery costs. Such strategic, operational models are a step towards optimizing logistics in densely populated urban areas, it said.
Technological advancements in delivery
Flash incorporates advanced GPS technology, offering customers real-time tracking of their deliveries. Shadowfax said that this feature ensures transparency and allows customers to monitor their orders from the moment they are dispatched to the delivery time, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Praharsh Chandra, the Co-Founder & Chief Business Officer of Shadowfax, said, "We are thrilled to introduce Flash by Shadowfax. In an era where speed, reliability, and cost efficiency are paramount, Flash by Shadowfax addresses the evolving needs of businesses and consumers alike. This service aligns with our commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, providing a comprehensive solution for efficient, on-demand logistics. Flash is not just about delivering packages; it's about delivering value."
Shadowfax's market influence
Shadowfax claims that it handles 2 million packages daily and operates a vast network with 125,000 monthly active delivery partners and 3.5 million registered users. The company's ability to offer competitive prices and maintain industry-leading turnaround times further solidifies its position in the market
Earlier in May this year, The company joined government-backed ONDC to offer its last-mile delivery services in over 700 Indian cities.
