Logistics startup Kale Logistics raises $5 million led by Inflexor Ventures

• Kale Logistics will infuse the raised capital in product enhancements and global business growth.
• The Series A funding round also saw participation from other existing investors.
• The startup operates UPLIFT, a cargo community platform that facilitates cross-border commerce and cargo digitization for airports and seaports.

Thane-based logistics tech startup Kale Logistics, today announced, it has raised $5 million (about Rs 36 crore) in a Series A funding round led by tech-focused VC firm Inflexor Ventures, along with participation from existing investors.

Previously, Inflexor Ventures had invested in PlayShifu through its Inflexor Fund 2. Vitra.ai and Steradian Semiconductors are also part of its Fund 2 portfolio, acc. to VC firm website.

The latest funding round will help Kale Logistics to make product enhancements and increase global business growth by deploying the solution at additional overseas airports, ports, and enterprise cargo handling customers, the release said.

Speaking on the development, Amar More, Co-founder & CEO, Kale Logistics, said, “Our community platforms for ports and airports have a huge opportunity with demand for digitization accelerating at a fast pace. We are excited about having Inflexor as our investor partner as we move forward towards the next orbit of growth.”

Founded in 2010 by Amar More, Vineet Malhotra, and Rajesh Panicker, Kale Logistics provides cutting-edge technology solutions to the logistics industry. The startup's flagship product UPLIFT, a cargo community platform that facilitates cross-border commerce and cargo digitization for airports and seaports, the statement said.

The startup also has industry pioneers such as Narendra Kale and Vipul Jain as a part of the core founding team.

According to the startup, Kale Logistics vision is to drastically reduce the complexities involved in the cargo logistics processing at airports, seaports, and customs checkpoints, using their cloud-native integrated platform and ERP solutions for all stakeholders in the logistics industry.

Inflexor Logistics portfolio includes CloudSEK, Verloop, Entropik Tech, Chakr Innovation, Bellatrix, Singularity, Data Resolve Technologies, 3rdFlex, and SecurAX Technologies.
