Magicpin, a hyperlocal e-commerce startup, has introduced Velocity, a delivery-as-a-service (DaaS) tech solution aimed at transforming the logistics landscape. Velocity promises to deliver orders within 30 minutes, featuring real-time workforce tracking, order status updates, and integrated customer feedback mechanisms.

Currently managing 5,000 daily orders, Magicpin plans to escalate its operations to over 100,000 orders per day.

Addressing market fragmentation

The launch of Velocity comes as a strategic move to tackle the challenges of a fragmented logistics market, where no single third-party logistics (3PL) provider dominates.

By acting as an aggregator for 3PL partners like Shadowfax, Dunzo, Rapido, Porter, Ola, and Zypp, Velocity offers a cost-effective alternative to in-house logistics. This enables businesses to streamline operational expenses without the need for capital investment.

Aiming to handle over 100K orders daily

Anshoo Sharma, CEO and Co-founder of Magicpin emphasized the role of strategic partnerships and advanced technology in serving over 20 merchants and delivering 5,000 orders per day.

"We are confident that Velocity will revolutionize the way businesses approach logistics and delivery, driving growth and success for our partners," Sharma stated. The startup aims to handle over 100,000 orders daily.

Offering superior customer experience and efficiency

Magicpin said Velocity distinguishes itself by offering a superior customer experience, boasting a 95% on-time performance rate for hyperlocal deliveries.

The platform features plug-and-play functionality. Furthermore, the integration of map-based live workforce tracking, real-time order status updates, and customer feedback mechanisms significantly enhances the delivery process.

Magicpin has established partnerships with over 20 merchants, including prominent names like KFC, Burger King, Rebel Foods (Faasos, Oven Story, Behrouz Biryani), and Eat Club (Box8, Mojo Pizza, Mealful Wraps).
