Metastable Materials onboards battery expert Daniel Troedsson as an Advisor

Bengaluru-based deeptech battery recycling startup Metastable Materials has announced the appointment of Daniel Troedsson as their strategic advisor.

Daniel Troedsson is a globally recognized expert in battery and energy technology, bringing nearly two decades of experience to the company.

His extensive background includes key roles such as CEO and Investor Relations head at Alelion Batteries AB (now Alelion Energy Systems AB), as well as senior positions at Volvo Energy and Volvo Group Trucks Technology.

In his advisory role at Metastable Materials, Daniel will contribute significantly to the company’s strategic planning.

His industry insights and mentorship are expected to enhance Metastable’s market positioning and help the company expand its international market reach.

Daniel Troedsson’s prior experience

Daniel Troedsson's notable career achievements include taking Alelion Batteries AB public and contributing to the development of lithium-ion battery technology.

He was instrumental in setting up Sweden’s first large-scale, privately-owned Li-ion battery factory.

Under his leadership, Alelion became a preferred battery supplier for electrified heavy-duty powertrains and HCVs. More recently, Daniel has been actively investing as an angel investor in multiple promising climate-tech startups across Europe and other continents and lending his expertise to new-age sustainability-first companies as an independent advisor.
