The world's top tech company Microsoft is in talks to buy TikTok's entire global business, including India and Europe region. According to the FT report, Microsoft is exploring whether it can add regions including India and Europe to the TikTok deal.

However, A source familiar with the discussion told Reuters that Microsoft has not raised the prospects of buying all of TikTok in its talks with Bytedance.

Furthermore, Microsoft said, earlier there were seeking to buy the assets of TikTok in North America, New Zealand, and Australia. Currently, It has not been disclosed for how much Microsoft is willing to pay for TikTok. According to the sources, Bytedance investors valued TikTok at $50 billion (roughly Rs3.75 lakh crores).

Moreover, According to the FT Report, There was a deal in the talks with Microsoft for TikTok India but somehow it fell through. TikTok faces September 15 deadline to either sell its U.S operation to Microsoft or to face a permanent ban in the United States.

Earlier, Bytedance was in talks with Apple to sell their U.S operation but Apple declined, said no interest in Buying TikTok.
