C.E. Info Systems Limited, the parent of digital mapping firm MapmyIndia, has completed the acquisition of an additional stake in Gtropy Systems Private Limited, consolidating its control in the telematics and IoT solutions provider.
In a filing with the stock exchanges, the company said it acquired 43,759 equity shares at Rs 5,713 apiece, amounting to Rs 24.99 crore. With this transaction, its shareholding in Gtropy has risen from 75.98% to 96% on a fully diluted basis.
The acquisition, first disclosed on August 7, 2025, is part of MapmyIndia’s strategy to expand its footprint in connected mobility and fleet management. Gtropy develops advanced telematics, GPS tracking and IoT-based fleet management solutions.
The acquisition comes at a time when MapmyIndia is reporting steady financial growth. In the June quarter of FY26, revenue rose 19.8% year-on-year to Rs 121.6 crore, while net profit climbed 27.7% to Rs 45.8 crore. EBITDA for the quarter stood at Rs 55.9 crore. Last month, the company also announced an investment of Rs 25 crore in quick-commerce platform Zepto, acquiring a 0.049% stake.
