Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, On Sunday press conference, said increasing the Micro, Small and Medium enterprises exports will create more jobs in the next upcoming years.

Gadkari said increasing the MSME's exports from 48 percent to 60 percent will create 5 crore jobs in the next 5 years.

“Our MSME sector has a huge contribution to the development of our nation. Currently, 30% income of India's GDP growth rate comes from MSME. 48% of our exports are from MSME and to date, we have created 11 crore jobs,” Gadkari said while speaking at SWAVALAMBAN E-Summit 2020 organized by ‘Lets Endorse Development’ NGO.

Moreover, Gadkari said, "I believe that in the next coming 5 years, we should increase our MSME's exports from 48 percent to 60 percent and create 5 crore new jobs.

Many enterprises are still unregistered and they should register themselves under micro-industry to get the benefits of MSMEs. We need help from NGO's to encourage such enterprises to register. he added.

Gadkari also said we need to think about how we can increase our exports compared to imports, by thinking about the alternatives. We have to bring foreign investment into MSME, adoption of technology in the business, and create more jobs for the Indian youth.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said the Indian government is working for the empowerment of the people around the villages and small cities.
